Dot cakes or "Dotcups," are the newest trend in mini desserts. They are a thick layer of moist cake frosted with buttercream icing and topped with crunchy, colorful nonpareil sprinkles. Their popularity stems from sensory satisfaction (a combination of fluffy cake, creamy icing and crunchy sprinkles), the nostalgia of childhood birthday cakes and the hype created by sold out bakery lines on the East Coast and working it's way West

The cakes are created in a 9 oz. plastic cup that include a plastic top. Great for parties or celebrations of any kind. You name your flavor of cake, color and flavor of icing and palette color of sprinkles (sorry, they cannot be shipped outside of Minnesota.)
